Laura Martocci, Ph.D., is an Associate Dean and an Associated Faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Wagner College. She worked as a National Trainer with the Ophelia Project in 2001-02, trained with the Empower Program, and has worked intensively in elementary schools in the New York area since that time. In 2007 she introduced the S.A.R.A. program, a 12-week anti-bullying initiative which is workshopped in elementary schools by students enrolled in her college-level course on Relational Aggression.
Laura Martocci is a sought after consultant and educator in the tri-state area.
She currently offers
1) In-service teacher-training workshops
2) PTA presentations
3) customized events and workshops (mother / daughter seminars, book clubs, etc)
4) The S.A.R.A. program, a 12 week anti-bullying initiative currently offered (on a lottery basis) to elementary schools on Staten Island.
